Benefits
Members are introduced to the concepts of Servant Leadership and
21st Century Leadership Capacities. Individual learning styles
are identified. Diversity analysis will assist leaders in the
elements of facilitation, collaboration, and consensus
are emphasized.
The class will develop as a performing community as they apply
what they learn to a class project for the improvement of
Miami
County
The project provides hands-on experience with the
leadership concepts taught, both as a leader and as participant
in a developing performing community or group.
While substantial completion of the project is expected
for the learning process, many projects continue or expand after
the April graduation.
Past graduates, from a variety of backgrounds, have
successfully completed many projects addressing county needs in
the areas of economic development and quality of life.
